CJC Tapestry: A Day of Nourishment Sunday April 28, 2013 10-5

Skylawn Center, “top of the hill”

on Hwy 92, at Hwy 35, east of Half Moon Bay

You are invited to join us for this fun and enriching day, designed for our diverse and unique congregation and the greater community of the Bay Area.  Ideas are from surveys, focus groups and lots of discussion.   Our intention is for you to experience a taste of The Best of CJC ~ interesting people, workshops, music, ritual and delicious food, and to plant the seeds and nurture the future of on-going programs and projects.  Tapestry presenters are CJC Spiritual Leaders Julie Batz and Jhos Singer, congregants and community members.

You are welcome for all or part of the day. There will be plenty of time for Socializing, plus Joyful Singing, Stimulating Adult Ed, and Spiritual Engagement. There are three time slots with three topics each to choose from.

Our congregation is enthusiastic, creative and visionary; we experienced something special and powerful at a gathering in February; let’s continue that and share with new friends and others. Big shout-out to CJC Religious School Parents to come and mingle again with the rest of us!  We hope our East Bay and Peninsula members and friends will come, too.

CJC Tapestry: A Day of Nourishment is open to everyone and is free to CJC Members, $18 for all others. Catered lunch included. Invite your friends and extended family. (Let us know if childcare issues prevent attendance and we will try to facilitate shared resources.)

RSVP (strongly encouraged for our planning needs) to cjcleslie@coastside.net

Doors open at 9:30 am for schmoozing and light snack; program starts at 10 and ends at 5. Stay all day, or come early and stay for lunch or come for lunch and stay through closing ritual.
