Dear Parents,
We’re reaching out to gauge interest in a multi-age CJC Youth Group consisting of smaller groups of elementary, middle, and high schoolers. They would get to know each other in the context of Jewishly-related learning and enrichment opportunities that may include field trips. As a first step, we’re inviting all Jewish and Jewish-adjacent young people to our two Friday evening services in August (8/14 & 8/28).
We’re expecting a good turnout of young people at each, and would love your help encouraging their attendance as this is a great opportunity for kids to meet one another. They don’t need to sit through the service; they’re welcome to hang out or play, indoors or outdoors, with parent volunteers on hand to keep an eye on things.
We also hope you’ll bring the whole family to our Rosh Hashanah Family Service & Tashlich on Saturday, 9/12. These events are a way for your kids to be counted among the Jewish youth on the Coastside who want to stay connected to their heritage and community. We hope to see you there!
