In 2021, we welcomed Marla Kolman Antebi back as our Education Director. Marla was CJC’s Education Director for seven years from 2003 to 2010. Most recently, she was Education Director at Temple Beth Torah in Fremont. We’re so fortunate Marla has returned to the coast!
Family Circle met two Sunday mornings per month for a total of 18 sessions plus with a few other holiday or special programs scheduled on other days/times.
The overall theme this year was Mitzvot and Middot – exploring Jewish virtues and values. Classes are about 2 hours and include music, stories and other activities. Family Circle is designed for families so parent/guardian participation is encouraged!
Tuition in 2023/2024 remains $600 for the first student from each family which works out to about $30/class. A 30% discount ($420) will be applied for each sibling.
Most classes are held outside, with occasional indoor sessions when there is inclement weather, etc. Masking is not required during classes but we welcome anyone who is more comfortable to wear a mask.
